I don't have the slightest clue, what I may have missed in the previous 
mails, which I did read as far as they were send to the public mailing 
list. Was there any argumetn why NSImageCell may not be a direct 
subclass of NSCell?
I rather drop out of this discussion now, otherwise I might take some 
offence.
