Interesting - so it is actually using abbreviations internally that it is
not returning in that dictionary then ? I just tried it and I get
the same as you - yet asking for [[NSTimeZone localTimeZone] abbreviation]
give the string "BST" !
Mind you, living on the prime meridian I at least only need to worry
about this for half the year :-)
