As far as I remember, we broke binary compatibility between 0.9.3 and 
0.9.4. This is likely the reason you're experiencing undefined 
weirdness. I am currently in the process of developing a plan which will 
prevent applications from running which were compiled prior to a 
binary-breaking base or GUI upgrade. I suspect that if you recompile the 
apps in question, they will work fine. Can you verify this for me?
