Details:

When I call

defaults write NSGlobalDomain GSBackend libgnustep-art

it says:

2005-02-01 22:33:56.000 defaults[12113] Defaults home '~/GNUstep' did not
exist - created it

2005-02-01 22:33:56.000 defaults[12113] Defaults path '~/GNUstep/Defaults'
did not exist - created it

2005-02-01 22:33:56.000 defaults[12113] File NSUserDefaults.m: 815. In
[NSUserDefaults -initWithContentsOfFile:] Path
'/home/pupeno/GNUstep/Defaults' is not writable - making user defaults for
'/home/pupeno/GNUstep/Defaults/.GNUstepDefaults' read-only

And when I take alook at the results, it created a directory
/home/pupeno/~/GNUstep/

I think that's a bug ;)
