Package: gnustep-gui
Version: 0.9.5-1

The "Open file" and similar dialogs of the programs of GNUstep are difficult
to be used because they always show some default directory (usualy the home
directory) and I have always to pass through the whole path to the file I am
interested. This is because the "Open file" dialogs do not have shelf with
shortcuts for often used folders and files (unlike the windows of
GWorkspace).

As far as I can remember, on NeXTstep it was possible to drag and drop a file
over the "Open file" dialogs and the result of this operation was that the
dialog selects the dropped file. In this way I could use the shelf of the
big windows of GWorkspace as a substitute of the missing shelf of the "Open
file" dialogs.
