Status: None => Fixed

Follow-up Comment #1:
Turns out that the problem was caused by use of backslash characters in the
path configured for GNUSTEP_SYSTEM_ROOT ... ie bad input causes the failure.
Solution ... try to prevent bad input .. so I have added a load of checks to
the configure script to complain/exit if you feed in paths with characters
that the make system can't cope with.
