URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?17788> Summary: Hang waiting for task completion on MS-Windows Project: GNUstep Submitted by: sheldon Submitted on: Monday 09/18/2006 at 13:13 Category: Base/Foundation Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: Bug Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open _______________________________________________________ Details: There is a bug in NSTask when running on MS-Windows. Attached is a simple tool which demonstrates the bug. If you run it under MSYS it will work. If you run it under CMD it will fail, simply hanging forever. I believe this is being caused by console issues (ie second task doesn't have the right console environment for it) but haven't delved into exactly why. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Monday 09/18/2006 at 13:13 Name: tasklaunch.m Size: 1.08KB By: sheldon NSTask bug on ms-windows <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=10788> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?17788> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
