Details:

Steps to reproduce:

1) Download an build PRICE.app
2) open an image
3) Choose Convolve from the Filters menu
4) Close the Convolve panel
5) Re-open the panel and try again

RESULT: Crash
EXPECTED: Panel should open and should be able to use matrix.

While looking at this I noticed some interesting code in the close method in
NSWindow which I have some questions about.

I tested the same application on Mac OS X and couldn't get a similar
failure.
