It really would help if you supplied some information on which backend is
showing this behaviour. Most likely it will be art our default backend and
there has been one significant change in this area.
As I explain in great detail in bug report #22247, the whole bitmap image
handling in GNUstep was screwed up. Some backends use pre-multiplied alpha and
others don't and for the loaded images the same holds true. What I changed was
the the art backend now turns all displayed bitmaps to non-pre-multiplied
before drawing, as this is the format it understands.
It is quite likely that now images look different. On the other hand it is
also possible that the code in [NSBitmapImageRep _unpremultiply gets some
cases wrong. I will look into this specific issue right now. Is it correct
that this is FileProject.tiff from projectcenter/Images?
