Details:

I have tried to configure the gnustep-make-2.0.5 package with
--enable-native-objc-exceptions but it failed.

My compiler is gcc-4.0
ringo:~/src/gnustep-make-2.0.5 Tamas$ gcc-4.0 --version
powerpc-apple-darwin8-gcc-4.0.0 (GCC) 4.0.0 20041026 (Apple Computer, Inc.
build 4061)

The machine:
ringo:~/src/gnustep-make-2.0.5 Tamas$ uname -a
Darwin ringo.internal 8.11.0 Darwin Kernel Version 8.11.0: Wed Oct 10
18:26:00 PDT 2007; root:xnu-792.24.17~1/RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh powerpc

I had a look in the configure log, and the test for native objc exceptions
actually fails because the linker does not find libthread! First of all I
would expect it to use libpthread, and second, I think that the gcc-4.0
compiler can handle native exceptions.

I have attached the config.log file!

Cheers,
Tamas
