Can you put the attached file in the 'sources' directory under the  
gnustep-startup directory you are using, and rerun InstallGNUstep? Let  
me know if it works or not.

Or if you are adept at making packages, apply the patch to the gnustep- 
gui directory and remake gnustep-gui.
