Follow-up Comment #5, bug #24843 (project gnustep):
The hackers mail.ing list archive is interesting ... it appears that there
certainly was (and given the behavior you are seeing on a new system,
presumably still is) a bug in libkvm which means that it doesn't work (at
least for what we need to do) pn a system where /proc is not mounted.
Unfortunately there is no mention of any workaround possible, so I guess the
best thing for the moment is to add a warning to tell people about the issue
and that they need to mount /proc.
