Details:

This looks an easy one for a beginner ... the gopen command mimics the OSX
open command but misses several of the command line argument supported on
OSX.

It would be good to have the full set of command line options supported.

It would also be good to have a standard gnu style --help option to print out
a summary of all the other available options.
