Follow-up Comment #3:

There was a bug corrupting the Autorelease pool in GSWSession. (fixed in
SVN)
On OSX the NSAutoreleasePool prints a message like:

*** attempt to pop an unknown autorelease pool (0x80a200)

which is done with CFLog. just put a breakpoint there and you can backtrace
to get to the real problem.
The implementation in -base forces the program to die.

The best would be probably to raise.
