Follow-up Comment #3, bug #33392 (project gnustep): I changed the atomic builtins as suggested ... and tried removing the check for USE_ATOMIC_BUILTINS ... but the result failed to link because the compiler generated a link to a non-existent function to do the atomic builtin decrement.
