Follow-up Comment #7, bug #34777 (project gnustep): Silver theme is configured with NSWindows95InterfaceStyle. You can change this on Info-gnustep.plist file inside the Resources dir. GNUstep close the app if you close the last window. Even if you have a minimized window at taskbar. But you can configure this with the delegate method: -applicationShouldTerminateAfterLastWindowClosed: If you don't want a menu in some window or panel.
