It is difficult to get GNUstep working on OSX as it tends to conflict with the 
system that is already on OSX.  You might try instructions from these pages:

Both of these are probably out of date.  Most people don't use GNUstep this way 
as there is no point (use Xcode on OSX and GNUstep on other machines).
