Details:

Instead of showing Ascending/Descending indicator icons when using this
method, only a NSLog is printed, that this methods is not yet implemented.

There are a couple of Apps out there, that make use of that method, i.e.
GNUMail, Zipper. Those would love to have that
implemented ;)
