Follow-up Comment #5, bug #27088 (project gnustep):
There have been several improvements in in-window menus. First there were
fixed, then we also stopped migrating menus. Could the original poster see if
the behaviour is now better for him?
Especially on Windows with native menus they work quite reliably.
