Follow-up Comment #1:

I think that you already stated the solution to this in your bug report.
GNUstep make supports both xxxInfo.plist and xxx-Info.plist (and also
Info-xxx.plist for older versions of XCode). So if you need to have two
separate files you may use xxx-Info.plist for XCode and xxxInfo.plist for
GNUstep.

It is not possible to state that no plist file should be merged, but are you
really sure you need this?

A more interesting request would be support for variable replacement, as Apple
seems to have it, before the plmerge. You could try to achive part of that via
cplist files, but that mechanism isn't compatible to the one used by Apple.
