Please try the current snapshot or apply the following fix for IRIX for
groff's src/include/lib.h:

  #ifndef __sgi
  #include <groff-getopt.h>
  #endif

AFAIK, IRIX is the only platform which directly includes getopt.h in
stdio.h (or stdlib.h?  I can't remember), causing this problem.
