hello,
i am not on any groff mailing list and have no
great experience w/it. most likely what i am going
to report is not a bug, but a feature. nevertheless
if you could explain it i'd be grateful.
amaaq> uname -a
OpenBSD amaaq 3.1 AMAAQ#4 i386
amaaq> groff -v
GNU troff version 1.15
i am trying to process a man page, see the attachment.
the command
amaaq> nroff -Tascii -mandoc sysconf.3 > sysconf.3
produces a man page where there is a seemingly blank line
between these 2:
_SC_BC_SCALE_MAX
The maximum scale value in the bc(1) utility.
i tried to generate a ps version and i noticed that
the blank line is exactly where a page break is.
is this a bug or a feature?

reality is that part of imagination we all agree on.
sysconf.3
