I didn't provide a patch in my initial report because I hoped someone
more familiar with the subtleties of the software would make the edits
by hand, automatically reviewing them in the process.  I figured it
was a ten-minute job tops and would provide a useful sanity check.
But I know people's time is limited, so if no one gets to it in the
next few days, I'll create a patch.
