Here's the text of the original report.  Neither Bjarni's chosen file name nor
Savannah's (lack of) file type identification on the attachment were as
helpful as they could have been.

SUGGESTED FIX [optional]:

  Document this in the manpage "groff_font(5)", (make a new) section
"kernpairing".  Mention a solution with for example '\^' and the \h'N'
request (for negative kerning).

  Point out the Heirloom implementation (heirloom.sourceforce.net) for
people that need (want) this capability (and other implementations that
have it).
