Heinz, bug #58206 has now been fixed.  If you're able, please test the fix by
grabbing the latest tmac/pdfpic.tmac from git
<http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/groff.git/tree/tmac/pdfpic.tmac> (this file
has had some other cleanup done to it as well) to make sure it solves the
problem you were seeing.  Thanks!
