I've noticed it in previous commits of yours (but assumed it was intentional).
 E.g., commit 0a4c256f
<http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/groff.git/commit/?id=0a4c256f> changed
leading tabs to spaces on several lines whose code was unaltered.
