Bjarni, it'd be useful if you (A) supplied a unified diff of changes to groff
source code and (B) identified the version you're patching.

Fortunately, I was able to reproduce the problem you describe by applying the
following patch to what is now master on Savannah.

...and with that said I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is; since the
table has a vertical rule in it, I suspect it is bug #62471.

But I'll check.
