Hallo!

Configuration files for boot loaders should be placed in /etc.
So I think the "menu.lst" should be placed to /etc and renamed to
something like "grub.conf". May be it could be realized by a link or
grub looks into both directories. (I know, that this is a problem, when
/boot is on a separate partition.) It is only a suggestion to think
about being conform to the filesystem hierarchy standard.
