The grub reiserfs driver is my code.  I would like to get some
debugging information.

Can you please change "#undef REISEDEBUG" to "#define REISEDEBUG" in
stage2/fsys_reiserfs.c and remake grub.  Then start grub shell and try
to access some symlinks (e.g. with the testload command).

Send the output to me privately.  You can capture it by invoking grub
shell like this and typing the commands blindly:
  grub --no-curses > output
