Bootloader Fails when trying for Win98 |

Hello,
I was just hoping someone may know how to fix my current problem. I
am running a dual-boot Linux/Win98 box and am using GRUB to boot the system.
I actually used to have it working fine, but I had to re-install Linux for
stupid reasons and with it went my GRUB files. Right now I am using GRUB
0.5.96.1 and my menu.lst file looks like:
timeout 15
title Linux
kernel (hd1,1)/boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hdd2
title Win98
root (hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader +1
The problem I have is that when I go to boot into windows, GRUB prints a
message loading Stage1.5 and then it prints Loading Grub... and then it goes
back into the grub menu.
When I install grub, I use the command `grub-install /dev/hda1`
and the device.map looks like
(fd0) /dev/fd0
(hd0) /dev/hda
(hd1) /dev/hdd
Here is the contents of /boot/grub:
fat_stage1_5
ffs_stage1_5
e2fs_stage1_5
stage1
stage2
stage1_lba
device.map
menu.lst
Thanks,
Chris
