> 0x24-0x27 is the 32 bit fat length for FAT32 in case the 16 bit > fat_length at 0x16 is zero. Maybe the windows boot sector just copies > the fat_length to have it always in the same space. That's unlikely - it is a FAT16 partition and the only code from the sector that was executed at this point was the INT 3 I put in the first byte. Read 'Ya Somewhere... Ingo Korb
