This is what I tried first. I.e. an El Toritor CD-ROM with a grub
floppy image as the boot sector. It didn't work though. Again, stage1
booted but couldn't find stage2.
So I take this means my BIOS probably doesn't provide correct geometry
for CD-ROMs? If so I'll look for an upgrade...
