hello.

im having a little trouble getting grub to pick up all my RAM.
it reports that i have 3072K upper memory, when i actually have
256MB installed (and in use by linux).

My system:

AMD Duren 800mhz CPU.
Asus A7V1133(-C?).
 - AwardBIOS.
SIS videocard.
3x60gb ATA100 HD's.
etc.

all the ram is successfully detected at boot-up and with
all the os'es ive tested..

now, ordinarily i wouldnt mind, since 3MB would be more than
enough for the kernels im attempting to boot (early 0.0.1
development kernels) are quite small, but whats annoying
is that i cant actually load any kernels:

grub> kernel /kernel
[Multiboot-elf, <0x4026f000:0x6264:0x31fc>, <0x40279000:0xc68:0x0>(bad)
Error 28: Selected item cannot fit into memory

where kernel is about 36KB...

[ ive tried to use uppermem to force 256MB (262144K) but it still
gives me that cannot fit into memory error! ]

 - Frank.

PS, help!
