Dear Ask,
Thank you so much for replying :)
I can use grub to boot a DOS boot disk, and then cd to drive C;\
. . . then , when I enter <WIN> my Windows 3.1 starts up just fine,
running completely on ext2 file system (:-O
My idea is, I would like to use grub to boot win 3.1 on ext2 file system
, directly, without using dos diskette.
my Windows vers 3.1 does seem to run quite happily on ext2
file system ! { loaded it from an archive of old win 3.1 installation,
which I had saved as a tar.gz archive }
thank you
best wishes,
Richard
