Subject: | GRUB wont boot when CDROM drive is removed |
Date: | Tue, 30 Apr 2002 15:56:35 -0700 |
I have installed RedHat 7.2 with GRUB as the
bootloader.
After I have configured it as a router I do not
need the cdrom in the system.
So I removed the cdrom and rebooted.
I get GRUB stage2..read error
If I put the cdrom back in the system I can
see
GRUB Boot cdrom
and then it boots from the harddrive
normally
How does one stop GRUB from trying to boot to the
cdrom before trying to boot from the harddrive?
