Summary: GRUB does not override the environment's LDFLAGS
Original Submission: When making, GRUB does not override the environment's
LDFLAGS even though GRUB needs specialized flags, which causes making
stage1.exec from stage1.o to fail if the LDFLAGS are set. GCC will complain
about multiple definitions of _start and a missing main.
