Summary: Boot from USB

Original Submission: On old pc there is no "boot from usb" entry in the BIOS.
And on new systems you need to configure it in the BIOS, but thats a security
risk (everbody can then boot a usb-device). An entry in grub could be
password-protected.

No way. If your BIOS cannot start GRUB, what do you think GRUB can do?
