If you have done a Windows reinstall or similar you can download Super Grub 
Disk (in cdrom version) from http://adrian15.raulete.net/grub/ and choose 
the option restore grub on your mbr. Auto.
When you reboot you'll have perhaps grub there again.

If you haven't done anything about installing or messing with mbr or so it 
could be a problem of filesystem. Maybe you should do a fsck from a live 
cd.

I recommend you to try SGD anyway.
