Hi,
There is a bug in apple's bootcamp. This was found by some solaris
hackers:
https://www.opensolaris.org/jive/message.jspa?messageID=32756
First of all, I haven't contacted them yet... Are there any legal
issues in applying this? I think it is quite trivial, it's 4 lines of
assembler code.
The issue is that when reading from the keyboard, makes the system
hang. Their fix was waiting for a key and only read the input when a
key was pressed. This means some busy waiting has to be introduced
into GRUB.
Okuji, do you see this as a bug fix and do you want to see this patch
applied?
Thanks,
Marco
