Andrian, I am already familiar with those steps. But I am looking for a way which just make a formatted floppy boot-able from menu.lst And I am successful with title create boot able floppy for this PC root (hd0,2) setup (fd0)
If you go to another computer where Linux is not in (hd0,2) partition your floppy will fail.
If you build the floppy as I have told you you can always type: configfile (hd0,2)/boot/grub/menu.lst (and use autocompletion) to be able to boot your menu.lst again. adrian15
