Yes.

What you should know is that putting password just after the default and 
fallback lines does not block grub until a password is set.

Putting password just after the default and fallback lines blocks the 
edit and command line options till through 'p' key you enter the correct 
password.

Even if you put a global password you can put another password into each 
one of the title entries so that when this option is selected a password 
is asked.
