right. It allows the "non-emulation" boot.

As far as I know El Torito spcifies several modes:

1. Floppy emulation
2. Hard disk emulation
3. No emulation

In floppy and hd emulation mode the real hardware gets
re-mapped. 

In no emulation mode, the reader has to understand the
ISO-9660 file system.
