Follow-up Comment #1, bug #24366 (project grub):
Hmm,
Quickly reading the sources, why the console is not a module too ? will be
easier to switch to serial only ...
With the actual code, how grub could start if there's no console at all ?
Outputing the welcome message on the console is IMHO "dangerous" if no
console exists no ?
