Details:

Starting with Ubuntu 10.04 (grub 2) the OS does not boot on Compaq Proliant
ML 350 ProLiant SMART-2/p (Smart 2/DH) Array Controller.

It work wery well with Ubuntu version 9.10, (and older) and does not work
with 10.04.

The array name is : /dev/ida/c0d0

It is well created and formated, the disk and files can be seen with gparted
Ubunti liveCD utility.

Grub stops with error message "error : out of disk".
ls command shows partitions hd0 etc. but there is no any file which can be
seen on those devices, so the boot destination file can't be find and grub
does not continue.
