Follow-up Comment #18, bug #35422 (project grub):
Well the patch like this can be applied to GRUB2 as well but the patch makes
no sense. volatile means that the variable is accessed by external source
(e.g. DMA) but this variable isn't. My guess is that asm helper wasn't
conformant to ABI. If so it was fixed in 2.00~beta6. Can you confirm?
