4.3.2 GNU/Linux
It is relatively easy to boot GNU/Linux from GRUB, because it somewhat
resembles to boot a Multiboot-compliant OS.
Set GRUB’s root device to the same drive as GNU/Linux’s.
AFAIK this is true only if the /boot tree is located inside the root
filesystem. If it resides on a partition of its own, then that partition has
to be specified as the grub root instead.
