I'm having second thoughts on tweaking the default behavior of GSL's
configure on OS X.  Use 'CC=clang ./configure' is such an easy fix to
tell folks, and I think it's rather un-GNUish to default to the
non-GNU compiler.

And I'd still love if someone nailed down the actual problem since
presumably something numerical is broken at -O2 on that compiler.
