Thanks for catching this, I've fixed it on the git. This fix should be released soon, so I will probably wait a few weeks to see if any other bugs are found and then release a v2.1

Details:

Dear all,

    the example doc/examples/fitting2.c stops with the error message that the
work space is not of appropriate size.

If multifit/multiwlinear.c makes the checks for nmax and pmax the
function seems to work.

Could it be that the renaming/extra fields of n/nmax p/pmax are the source of
this trouble?
