I put the following project description on savannah:
The Source Release Collections will provide a simple way for users
to install a standard set of the latest GNU packages, known to work
together, to allow easier development.
Working with the GNU QA project, the source release collections will
be automatically tested and analysed for known problems across the
whole project.
