Wait it’s Intel??  Sorry I misread.  I thought I had read AMD.

It is an older machine, right?  I do not know what kernel module is
responsible for Intel.

Please try adding “nomodeset” as a kernel parameter instead of
modprobe.blackliist=amdgpu.
